Job & business management for shed builders

Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of ShedOS, a job and business management platform for trade and construction businesses, provided via web application and mobile apps (iOS and Android) (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts and eligibility

Accounts on ShedOS are created for you by an organisation (“tenant”) that has subscribed to the Service — for example, your employer, principal contractor, or a client you deal with via a shared portal. You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

2. What ShedOS provides

ShedOS provides tools for job and project management, quoting, invoicing, timesheets and site attendance, safety documentation (including SWMS), site photo capture, purchase orders, reporting, and a client portal, along with optional integrations with third-party services such as Xero, GoHighLevel, and Stripe. ShedOS may be provided under white-label branding chosen by your tenant organisation.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another organisation’s data, or to any part of the Service you are not authorised to access.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through reverse engineering, scraping, or introducing malicious code.
  • Use safety features (including SWMS sign-off and do-not-operate controls) in a way that circumvents genuine workplace health and safety obligations.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Access to ShedOS is provided on a subscription basis to tenant organisations, billed via Stripe. Your tenant organisation is responsible for its subscription and any fees owed to us. If you are a client using the portal to pay an invoice, that payment is processed by Stripe and is subject to Stripe’s own terms in addition to these Terms.

5. Your content and data

You and your organisation retain ownership of the content and data you submit to ShedOS (jobs, photos, quotes, invoices, timesheets, and similar records). You grant us a licence to host, store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to your organisation. See our Privacy Policy for details on how personal information is handled.

Certain safety records (including SWMS sign-offs) are retained indefinitely and cannot be deleted, only archived, in order to meet workplace health and safety record-keeping obligations. This applies even if the underlying account or subscription is later closed.

6. Third-party integrations

Where your organisation connects a third-party service (such as Xero, GoHighLevel, or Stripe), that connection is subject to the third party’s own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services, and integration credentials are used only to exchange data as configured by your organisation.

7. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service from time to time, including to fix issues, improve performance, or comply with legal requirements.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for a tenant organisation or individual account where subscription payments lapse, these Terms are breached, or continued access would pose a security or legal risk. You may delete your own account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account deactivates your login and removes your personal profile information, subject to the retention obligations described in Section 5 and our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. ShedOS is a tool to help manage jobs, safety documentation, and business records — it does not replace your organisation’s own legal obligation to comply with workplace health and safety law, or professional judgement in how safety and compliance processes are run on site. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShedOS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
